Since 2011, the work group "Eyewitness Project" has been conducting discussions with former and present citizens of Tübingen, who experienced the post-war period between 1945 and the 1980s in Tübingen. The aim is to interview contemporary witnesses from different milieus and social areas about dealing with National Socialism in the 1950s, 1960s, 1970s and 1980s. The interviews are recorded and documented audio-visually. So far, more than a dozen eyewitness talks have emerged, both with well-known and lesser-known people.
The history workshop is very interested in new interviewees and can also provide individual interview excerpts, provided the eyewitnesses agree to them being passed on. You can reach the history workshop by calling 07071-763555 or by sending an email
